Brussels Sprouts Bake Recipe

Brussels sprouts are good for your health, however, following this recipe, you can make them good for your tastebuds as well.

 

What you need:

  1. 2 Minced shallots
  2. Butter – 3 tbsp
  3. Bacon – 5 slices
  4. Halved Brussels sprouts – 2 lb.
  5. Heavy cream – ¾ cup
  6. Shredded Gruyère – ½ cup
  7. Kosher salt
  8. Cayenne pepper – ½ cup
  9. Shredded cheddar – ½ cup

 

Instructions:

  1. Prepare oven by preheating it to 375 degrees. Take a large oven-proof pan and cook bacon for 8 minutes over medium heat.Drain excess oil by placing the bacon slices on top of paper towels. Then chop into small pieces and remove the fat.

 

  1. Melt the butter in the pan over medium heat. Put sprouts, shallots, salt, and cayenne. Cook for 10 minutes.

 

  1. Then remove the pan from heat and pour heavy cream all over the bacon sprouts mixture. Tip the bacon and cheese over it and bake for 14-15 minutes.

    If you want crispier slices of bacon, try cooking them at a higher temperature instead of cooking on medium
